30 Day JLPT N4 Revision Plan That Actually Works

If your exam is close, you need focused revision, not random studying. This 30 day plan helps you sharpen weak areas without burnout.

Week 1: Diagnostic and Core Review

Take one mini mock test first. Identify your weak zones: vocabulary, grammar, kanji, or listening. Build a priority list and start with highest impact topics.

Week 2: Grammar and Reading Accuracy

Review daily grammar blocks and solve short reading passages. Track confusion pairs and sentence patterns you miss repeatedly.

Week 3: Listening and Speed Control

Do timed listening sets every day. Practice note taking for key nouns, numbers, and intent words. Improve decision speed, not just understanding.

Week 4: Full Simulation and Polish

Run 2 to 3 full timed mocks. After each test, spend more time on error analysis than on score checking.

Daily Split for N4 Revision

  • 35 minutes vocabulary and kanji review
  • 35 minutes grammar and reading
  • 25 minutes listening
  • 15 minutes error log correction

Revision Rules

  • no heavy new content in final week
  • sleep and timing discipline are part of preparation
  • repeat weak question types every 2 days

JPABLE Plan

Use your existing progress data to select weak modules first. Keep a simple daily checklist and avoid over planning.

Final Tip

In the last month, consistency and smart review beat aggressive new learning.
